Preparing for your visit to MizHitch Makeup and Beauty

You may soon have an appointment coming up at MizHitch Makeup & Beauty and there are some important points for your attention.

• We encourage you to please not bring guests to your appointment (including infants and children) as per our existing business policy which can be viewed here.

• We welcome, thank and applaud our wildlife warriors, however we are unable to accommodate fostered wildlife in our clinic as per council regulations. Service animals are the exception to the rule.

• We request that you arrive to your appointment no earlier than five minutes prior.

• Our clinic operates by appointment only therefore you may be met with a locked front door upon your arrival. This means we are still with our previous client or preparing our space to welcome you in. Please take a seat at our seating out front and we will be with you shortly.

For your peace of mind and our assurance to you of our hygiene standards please be advised that our facial and body treatments are lush and comfortable and completed using plush professionally laundered towelling. Our floors are moped daily with medical grade bleach solution. Our bench tops and flat surfaces are wiped using Viraclean. Our reusable tools are disinfected using Medizyme. Everywhere possible during a treatment, only single use disposable materials are used.

The owner of the clinic, Eleni Meyrick, is the designated Infection Prevention contact and the person who constantly monitors all infectious control matters and how that relates to our work practices. Eleni is HLTINF005 certified and Skin Penetration licensed. MizHitch is a licensed Skin Penetration clinic with Gladstone Regional Council.

Please feel relaxed and be at ease!  Remember we are professionally trained and here to make your experience as seamless, soothing and relaxing as possible. You will calmly and expertly be guided by your clinician throughout your entire appointment. We have been very well trained and prepared in all matters regarding hygiene, best practices and Infections Control attained through the Qld Government.

MizHitch operates with a strict cancellation and no-show policy which can be viewed here. There will be zero tolerance for the purposeful act of placing the MizHitch staff and other clients in harms way or purposely compromising our health, safety and hygiene measures.
