OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

It is understandable that sometimes our best laid plans go astray and you may be unable to attend your appointment at late notice. In such instances we promise to be compassionate and understanding and we ask the same in return.

This business has a strict cancellation policy in effect and it is enforceable to ALL clients (whether they be new or our longest standing). Appointments are made and held in good faith so we ask you to ensure you enter the appointment you make in your personal calendar and avoid the risk of needing to cancel late.

The terms are as follows:

1. A 100% fee will be charged for no-shows

2. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours of a Saturday appointment

3. A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations within 24 hours of a Monday-Friday appointment

SATURDAY SURCHARGE

An 8% Saturday surchage applies to all treatment services performed on Saturdays at MizHitch CosMedi Retreat.

This surcharge reflects the additional costs associated with Saturday trading, including weekend staffing costs. The surcharge applies to individual treatments, advance bookings, prepaid treatment packages and treatments redeemed using gift vouchers.

For prepaid treatment packages, the Saturday surcharge is payable separately and is calculated on the treatment’s standard individual menu price.

accompanying children

We adore children (like completely adore children!). Therefore this point pains us to enforce; however we implore you to please not bring young children to your appointment.

There are a fair few dangers to be considered in a beauty clinic and we would dread for a curious little one to be injured while you are undergoing your treatment and while we are tending to you during the appointment.

We also wish to be mindful of the comfort and enjoyment of all our guests while in clinic and we aim to keep noise to a minimum.

our advanced booking policy

All high school formal/graduation/ prom makeup appointments are to be paid in full at the time of booking.

All group appointments are to be paid in full at the time of booking.

All wedding appointments are to be paid in full at the time of booking.

We accept bookings 12-18 months in advance and none of the above mentioned bookings are confirmed until such time that full payment is made.

This policy is in place so that you and MizHitch know the booking is secured. Bookings requiring advanced payment are non-refundable once paid. Cancellations for this type of booking are to be made with as much notice as possible. Instead of refunds, we offer:

1. Postponment of your booking to another available date and time within three months of the original booking. 

2. A credit (less 20% administration fee) on your profile to use for alternate services at MizHitch on available dates up to three months after your original booking. Credit amounts are redeemable on full priced treatments/products only and are not transferable nor redeemable for the purchase of gift vouchers.

our limit of liability

In the unlikely event of severe medical, natural or other situation of an emergent nature, there may be a requirement for MizHitch CosMedi Retreat to cancel a booking.

MizHitch will make every effort to offer an alternative date/time for your booking or in the event of a special occasion makeup booking, we will attempt to secure a replacement technician able and/or willing to provide a similar service as purchased at the same/similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the service as originally purchased.
